Mindfulness, Meditation, & Movement
Mindfulness Healing is a daily group that incorporates many different techniques to help calm the mind, and relieve the dis-ease of the body as well as help each client connect to their own higher-self or indwelling spirit. Clients will be led in practices such as Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, Pranayama (breathing exercises), Yoga for 12-step Recovery, Crystal Bowl Sound Healing, Guided Chakra Meditation and more. Teachers will gently guide each woman into these practices as they begin to realize the magic ability they possess to heal the body, calm the mind, and connect more deeply to the true Self within.
These practices also cause positive physiological changes in the body and mind that will calm feelings of anxiety, reduce stress and tension, calm compulsive thinking, improve mental function, boost immune system, promote better sleep, and improve your sense of wellbeing. All of these greatly improve the outcome of addiction and mental health treatment programs.
